When fall rolls around each year, the Oklahoma scenery explodes with color. Ruby reds and honey yellows paint the countryside, but the weather stays pleasantly warm. The unbearable summer heat dissipates, yet the winter frost is nowhere to be found—so you can enjoy your hike without the goosebumps. Broken Bow Lake feeds the lush Oklahoma fall foliage, making Beavers Bend Creative Escapes’ Broken Bow, OK cabins the perfect place to stay for an autumn retreat. Searching for where to see that glorious Oklahoma fall foliage? Look no further.
Oklahoma Scenery at Beavers Bend State Park
Just up the road from our lodge and cabin rentals, Broken Bow, OK holds the beautiful Beavers Bend State Park. It’s conveniently close and unbelievably gorgeous. Take 259A along the shore of Broken Bow Lake and down through the park’s forest for a relaxing view of Oklahoma fall foliage. If you feel like getting some exercise, there are plenty of hiking trails throughout the park. We also recommend renting a canoe or kayak to view the Oklahoma scenery from the water. The colorful leaves spiral down to the water and float gently across Broken Bow Lake.
While you’re in the park, check out the Forest Heritage Center Museum for some educational fun.
